Bee swarm removal is not something for the unequipped to try themselves, but that does not mean you have to call in a pest control company.  It’s possible to have bees removed humanely. Got a hive you would like removed? Call us direct for an on site consult.

Commercial hive hire & pollination

Insect pollination isn’t just about the number of fruits produced – it can also improve the quality of the yield. Almonds, blueberries, apples, grapes – all of these fruits, and many more, rely on insect pollination. Does your crop need a little helping hand? We hire our hives strictly within East Gippsland to local farmers to boost local productivity.

About Us

Around seven years ago, while surfing, Daniel met Ian ‘Bobsy’ Millar, a 70s rock icon come local beekeeper. This chance meeting turned into a weekly catch up over bees, which evolved into the start of something truely epic. Sadly, Ian passed away, but Daniel has continued to run and grow the business into the beauty she is. Today we house over 150 hives, and 500 boxes filled with bees.

Most large apiaries will move their bee’s from place to place, sometimes interstate and to large pollination farms to make the most of their harvest year round. This can put extra strain on the hives and effects their harvesting patterns. Wild Coast apiaries are stationary - year round. Allowing the bee’s to work and flow in their natural state and giving them rest and enough stores throughout the winter months.

Daniel is extremely focused on creating a safe and happy environment for our bees to flourish in, and our ethos is reflected in both our sustainable approach to keeping, and our intense flavours to match. Ask anyone who has tasted it and they will tell you - Wild Coast does the best damn honey.
